Work Health & Safety
Image maintains its promotion of a positive safety culture which includes safety programs and procedures that encourage job hazard analysis, planning and proactive incident reporting. This ensures continuous improvement of the health, safety and well-being of all employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the community as well as protection of the environment.
Key focus areas of Work Health & Safety for Image Resources are:
- Work Health & Safety was identified as the most important issue to Image Resources and broader stakeholders as part of our ESG materiality analysis
- The importance for us to comply with the WHS Act 2020 and the WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022
- We have a succinct and easy to follow mine safety management system, supported by our WHS policy, site specific plans, procedures, forms and registers
- We are championing an inclusive and diverse workforce, and priortising the health and wellbeing of our people
- We have a proactive incident reporting culture, and investigate incidents to ensure corrective and preventative actions are put in place
- We work closely with workers, other PCBUs (“person conducting a business or an undertaking”), contractors and sub contractors to promote and maintain a safe work environment
- We eliminate risks as far as reasonably practicable, and if not reasonably practicable to eliminate then we minimise (substitute, isolate, engineer) risks as far as practicable.
